陆蓉之

Curator, Art Critic，Film Producer，Director, and Urbart Artist. Since the mid-1790s, she has written art critiques for art magazines and newspapers in Taiwan, China. In late 1978, she worked as a curator at an alternative space in Southern California. In the 1980s, she translated the English term “curator” into “策展人(Curator)” and became one of the earliest female art critices and arrival of the AI era, she introduced the upgreaded version of the curator role, “Curategist”. She has held positions as the Artistic Director of Bund 18 Art Center in Shanghai, Creative Director of Shanghai Museum of Contemporary Art, Director of Moon River Contemporary Art Museum, and Creative Director of Today Art Museum in Beijing. She is currently a professor on the PhD program for Creative Industries at Shih Chien University in Taipei, Creative Director of ASIA FILM PLUS in the UK, Chariperson of Annual Metaverse Art Exhibition @Venice in Italy, and Vice President of the Artificial Intelligence Artistic Innovation Alliance.
