AA Yawei CAO was born in 1980, Yichang City, Hubei Province, China. Currently AA is working and living in Beijing. AA graduated from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) with a degree in Materials Science and Engineering in 2002 and obtained an EMBA from Peking University Guanghua School of Management in 2022. With rich life experience,from entrepreneur to philanthropist, and then to artist, AA firmly chose art creation as her lifelong mission in the middle of her life.

Inspired by the enchanting and magical creatures of nature and the boundless universe, AA has constructed the Purple Planet with an equal and symbiotic cosmology, carrying hope and the future. AA's creations coincide with the metaverse era. She creates highly recognizable artwork using natural minerals,wood, and iconic purple color, while also creating a metaverse Purple Planet with technologies such as VR and AI. She harmonizes the virtual with the real, and technology with art to create a thought-provoking artistic realm.
